WHERE IS ENFIELD LOCATED?

The town of Enfield is located 8 miles off of I-95. It is approximately 71 miles northeast of Raleigh, 19 miles north of Rocky Mount, 24 miles south of Roanoke Rapids, and 109 miles south of Richmond. It is 86 miles from the RDU Airport, 108 miles from Richmond Airport and 112 miles from the Norfolk International Airport.

Enfield’s proximity to Interstate 95 and US 64 allows for strategic accessibility to and from the East Coast’s major markets. I-95 runs south linking Enfield to Florida and north to New York and all the way up to Maine. US 87 is a four-lane highway system linking Enfield to Raleigh via I-95. Future plans are for 87 to link eastern North Carolina to Norfolk, Virginia.  Enfield is a little more than two hours from Wilmington and the North Carolina Outer Banks. Enfield is also convenient to the area and regional airports, freight and passenger train service, the deep-water ports of Morehead City, Wilmington and Norfolk.
